Paston Sixth Form College is a sixth form college in the town of North Walsham in the English county of Norfolk. It was created in 1984 from a merger between the Paston School and North Walsham High School for Girls. Ofsted Report 2011 In 2011 HMI inspectors noted that the retention rate for students on Foundation and Intermediate courses as insufficient. They also concluded that student's knowledge of their health and well being needed to be improved while teaching and learning could be made more effective by developing more effective differentiated activities. HMI concluded that the lesson observation procedure needed to be improved to accurately reflect the usual experience of learners. Furthermore student participation in enrichment activities needed to be encouraged more, whilst HMI indicated that managers needed to implement college procedures properly and overall self -assessment reports required improvement. ==Curriculum== The curriculum is wide for a college of its size with over 60 AS/A courses AS and A level and 4 BTEC Extended Diplomas (to A-level ).
